As the Founding Vice-Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), India’s first Skill University, I take pride in introducing this pioneering institution. While India excels in academia, skill-based education has been largely uncharted. Inspired by historic centers like Takshila and Nalanda, SVSU was founded by the Government of Haryana in 2016 to meet the Government of India’s focus on skill and entrepreneurship. Located in Dudhola, Palwal, SVSU provides students with practical, hands-on learning that prepares them for successful careers and a meaningful contribution to society.
